Jessica States Memorial Award

1995JessicaStatesHistory of the Award:

Jessica States was born in 1985.  She played many sports but hockey was one of her favorites.  She started hockey in Novice and progressed up to PeeWee until 1996 (at the age of 11) she was murdered in her own neighbourhood (Recreation Park and the old Community Arena).

Jessica loved hockey, worked hard at it and was truly dedicated to her team.  The award was first presented after the 1996-97 season and every year since.
